Unfortunately, the business with friends often reap discord for various reasons. In the end, you will loose your friend or even worst, he will be your enemy.

You certainly do not want to be like that. You want to do business with friends in a fun and profitable. To realize these desires, avoid the following five fatal error.

1. Over trust to friends

You may have known your friends who do business. Therefore, you give a big trust in him in the business role. This is a mistake that you should avoid. Why? Yes, we are human, especially when it comes to money, often betrayed or lied.

The solution? Do not believe the people alone, but you need to have a system that controls the business. This system is in the form of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) that you and your friends can run together.

2. Calculating profit irrationally

One thing that will be exciting for you when starting a business is the calculation of profits on paper. The more exciting if the profit increase due to a number of proposed parameters of your friends. You also fascinated by the profit on the paper so that it may think that running a business is as easy as turning the palm of the hand. In this condition, you have to calculate the profit irrationally.

In fact, business is full of twists and struggles. Profit on paper does not always correspond with the facts in the reality. Therefore, do your rational profit calculation when starting a business. Do not get too carried away by the sweet lips of your friends profit imagination.

If necessary, put the unforeseen factors when calculating the profit (for example the exchange rate, the fewer the number of customers, and other related issues). It would be better if you ask for advice and recommendation of a trusted financial planner for the financial affairs of your business.

3. No contract or agreement

Never do business with a friend without agreement. Why? Because without a contract, you are legally weak when there is a dispute with your friends later. Moreover, in the absence of an agreement, you will be wasting your time and money.

No excuse, you must make an arrangements with your partner when going to start the business. Include the responsibilities, profit share, and the settlement of disputes that may occur. If necessary, pay a notary or lawyer for better agreement structure.

4. Do not have a regular meeting schedule

Many people who do business with friends does not conduct regular meetings so that their businesses abandoned, zero growth, or even at a loss. That is bad business. You must have a scheduled meetings with your business partners.

You can do it once a week, twice a week, or once a month. This is important because with this business meeting, you can evaluate or review the growth of your business. In other words, in the meeting, you can identify wheter the program is going well or some are not according to the business plan.

For example, weekly sales fell. You and your friends need to analyze all factors that affect the sales. Once known the root cause, you can determine the next steps in order to increase sales. Thus, your business can be controlled properly.

5. Lost focus

One of the factors of the failed business is lost focus. The reason could be tempted to try another business seemingly more profitable. Of course, you should not be like that. Make a commitment between you and your friends to be equally focused raise your business. Leave aside the ideas of other business before the existing business is being run successfully.

In fact, many successful entrepreneurs who focus on business. Thus, they are able to face all the problems they have got. It is true they suffered in advance, but after that they were able to raise its business so that everything else becomes easier.

How to Increase Your Learning Motivation

How to Increase Your Learning Motivation

learning motivation

If you’re a student, you might want to be a successful student. Most likely you do not want to rely on luck to a college graduation. You may also want to boast of parents who have to finance your college.

One strategy to achieve three of the above is the motivation to learn. However, we knew that ‘motivation’ is upside down sometimes. Do not worry if your motivation in learning is going down, you can increase it so that you can change from the lackluster students into excited one. For this purpose, perform the following 5 easy steps.

1. Create a learning targets

The first step is to make the target of learning. The key in making these goals are clear, measurable, and a deadline. Clear and measurable show what you really want, while the deadline is for making the time-frame you need to achieve it. Remember, the goal without deadline is just a mere wishful thinking.

If you are a new college student who enter the university in 2015, the goal of learning could be like this:

Graduated from college with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 in July 2020
Graduated college cum laude before July 2020
Graduated from college with a GPA of 3.6 prior to February 20, 2020
If the annual learning goals is too long, you can create learning goals per semester. Examples such as the following:

Obtain a 3.6 GPA in Semester 1
Obtain a 3.5 GPA in Semester 2
Getting a 3.7 GPA in Semester 3

Do not forget to write down your learning goals and inform the person who you can trust, such as a close friend, brother/sister, parent, or to your girlfriend. Why? According to research by Prof. Dr. Gail Matthews from the Department of Psychology, University Dominician, 70% of people who write and inform the target at a friend would achieve those goals.

2. Determine why the goal is important

After creating learning goals, the next step is to determine the reason learning goals are important to you. In other words, why you really want that goal.

For example, if your learning goals are graduating from college with a GPA of 3.6 in 4 years, then the reasons are:

Parents save money for your tuition fees
Improve the competitiveness of your job search
Make your parents proud

3. Visualize when you reach goal

After making the target and identify the reason, visualize when you reach learning goals. This visualization will help you to put your goals into your subconscious mind so you will keep it in a long time.

How do I visualize? Not so hard. Search picture or photo in magazines, newspapers, or the internet that approach the target shape. For example, you find a photograph of students who graduated in the internet. Print the photo and put it in your wallet or stick it on the front wall of your study table so visible easily.

4. Do it step by step every day

The fourth step is to act to achieve learning goals. In contrast to step one to three relatively easy, the fourth step is quite challenging because it requires energy and time. It may also be a lot of obstacles and hurdles in this step.

Nevertheless, the simple strategy is to act a little every day. Some examples of this strategy are:

Working a matter of mathematics every day
Physics memorize the formula every day
Reading books Chemistry one sheet every day

The above strategies are very telling because your brain will not reject it. If you’re too lazy to learn, you may be muttering to yourself: “Ah … a matter of mathematics to be done today. It’s easy … Let’s do it now! “.

If you do the above strategy, you have to get used to learn each day with fun. Thus, you will be spared from the system of racing last night when exams are troublesome and exhausting. Remember, Rome was not built in one night so you better learn every day with fun to achieve your learning goals.

5. Stay focused on goals

The final step is to stay focused on your learning goals. For this purpose, you can do the following three efforts:

Track your learning actions – Do you act consistently to achieve your learning goals? You can tell from the record or tracking your actions. For example, you use the calendar to keep track of whether you learn every day or not. Mark X on the date you learn.

Review your actions – Every week (eg Sunday night), review the actions you have done in order to achieve your learning goals. While doing a review of this, note the obstacles that arise and identify ways to cope so that you can apply that way when such constraints appear again in the following weeks.

Read the story or the word motivation – Buy book your inspirational figure. By reading the book, you will know how the character ‘fight hard’ to achieve his goal, so you will be excited. If money is an obstacle, find words of motivation on the internet related to your course material.

Motivation to learn can come down anytime. This is reasonable because learning is a process that is not easy, especially in today’s digital age filled with the ease of action than to learn. Try five simple steps above to increase motivation to learn so that you become excited and be an optimistic student.
